PRIMARY EDUCATION ACADEMIC PROGRAM (Elementary Curricular Program)

At the end of every school year, the student’s performances per learning area are evaluated. If the students pass or earn at least 75% in all subjects, they can move forward to the next year level. After completing six years of elementary school, the students graduate and earn a diploma from the institution. After earning this diploma, they can move onto junior high school level.

In summary, SSADPI has a standard curricular offering for its Kindergarten class with special emphasis on PROBLEM SOLVING and the integration of Civic Training on Road Safety Signages which will be included as practical situational learning in Edukasyon sa Pagpapahalaga (EsP), which will also be highlighted further in Grades 1 to 6 under the same learning area. The school has provided a mini-road safety training area on the third floor of the building where students can simulate the various basic facets of proper observance of road safety signages.

On one hand, the school has integrated a Science Subject and Computer Literacy for Grades I, II and III with time allotment of 20 minutes per session per day with the former being offered three (3) times a week while the latter is being done twice (2x) a week only. The inclusion of these two subjects is aligned with SSAPDI’s thrusts which aims to develop learners’ problem-solving learning approach.

Furthermore, the problem-solving approach is even more given emphasis with the integration of Computer Literacy subject in the Upper Grade School levels.

GRADE 1 – 3: Subjects in these levels engage learners to build upon their entry level skills they have gained in the kindergarten level with the purpose of gaining better reading, writing, communication/socialization, numeracy and problem-solving skills through these learning areas:

GRADE 4 – 6: Subjects in this level meanwhile enable pupils to master higher level of concepts and skills that are anchored on their knowledge and skills gained in the lower grade school with a more pronounced academic, civic and practical skills.
